St Joseph's School Northam is seeking applications for the following positions to commence on 1 January 2025:

    Years 7 to 12 Science Teacher – Full-time, Ongoing
    1 January 2025

    This is a full-time, ongoing position for a Years 7 to 12 Science Teacher with the ability to teach at an ATAR level is preferred but not essential.  The ability to teach Chemistry is desirable.

    Selection Requirements:

    Special skills are needed and applications are invited from applicants who possess the following attributes: 

    *  Science Teacher with the ability to teach Years 11 & 12 is preferred but not essential.  However the ability to teach Chemistry is desirable.
    *  be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic Education
    *  be able to demonstrate highly competent classroom management and learning area skills
    *  possess a sound knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and be able to integrate digital technology into their teaching practices
    *  be an enthusiastic and cooperative team person who will work collaboratively with all teachers and the Leadership Team
    *  understand the importance of feedback to parents and students
    *  show initiative and participate fully in school activities
    *  be a creative, flexible and enthusiastic educator
    *  demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and excellent communication and organisational skills
    *  hold a Bachelor of Education 4 year qualifications.

    The successful applicants must have a current TRBWA registration, Working With Children Check and provide a valid CrimTrac.

    Years 7-12 Onsite Relief Teacher - Full-time (Terms 2, 3 & 4) Fixed Term

    Commencement date:  28 April 2025*

    St Joseph’s School is seeking a Secondary Teacher (Years 7-12) as an onsite Relief Teacher able to cover all subjects.  This position commences in Term 2 to cover Long Service Leave throughout the remainder of the 2025 school year.  *An earlier commencement date can be negotiated.
