St Joseph’s School Northam works to prepare students for learning in the 21st century. iPads and Laptops are tools to enhance student learning. Each student learns in their own way, at their own pace and digital devices help to support the learner, regardless of their ability and/or motivation.
Students in Years 7 - 12 are required to bring personal laptops for class use. In Years 4, 5 and 6, iPads are available for class use through either a personal device bought in from home or the use of a school iPad. In all other primary year levels, class sets of iPads are available. The use of iPads and laptops at St Joseph’s School is a privilege, specifically designed to be a resource to enhance student learning. Students are to abide by the School regulations concerning the acceptable use of electronic devices and any breach of this Code of Conduct will result in the loss of use of that device.
