UNIFORM

St Joseph’s School students take great pride in wearing their school uniform. There is a separate summer and winter uniform for both primary and secondary students. Students also have a sports uniform for days that they have Physical Education or sports training.

Uniform Shop

The School Uniform Shop is located on Primary campus and stocks all uniform items excluding sports & school shoes. There is also a selection of second hand uniforms available. The Uniform Shop, located on the ground floor of Fermoy House, on the Primary campus.  The opening hours during term time are:

Mondays - 3.15pm - 4.45pm

Thursdays - 2.45pm - 4.15pm

The Uniform Shop is also open at least once during holiday breaks.  Times for the Uniform Shop are always advertised in the School’s newsletter. The Uniform Shop is managed by Michelle James.

For the convenience of parents, we have now set up a new online ordering & payment system, once these orders have been packed (during Uniform Shop hours) they will be sent home with students.

Summer Uniform Years 1 - 10

Term 1 & Term 4

Girls

• Blue & white check dress
• Regulation black leather lace-up formal school shoes with white fold down school socks or brown or navy sandals
• School hat

NB: Girls wear skirts and dresses to a length that reaches the top of the knee.

Boys

• Sky blue school shirt with School Crest
• Regulation grey school shorts or College grey trousers
• Regulation black leather lace-up formal school shoes with fold down school grey socks
• School hat

Winter Uniform Years 1 – 10

Terms 2 & 3

Girls

• Navy blue pleated skirt or optional navy blue slacks
• Sky blue school shirt with School Crest
• School tie
• School jumper
• Regulation black leather lace-up formal school shoes with fold down school white socks or Navy blue tights
• School hat

Sports Uniform (Years 1-12)

• Navy School Sports Shorts with School Crest – full elastic waist
• House Top with School Crest – compulsory for ALL students Years PP– 12
• Inter-School Sport Top – All students from Years 4 - 12 require this shirt for Inter-School sport and can be worn as an alternative for Physical Education classes or sport
• School Tracksuit
• Lace-up Sport Shoes, predominantly one colour (black, navy, blue or white) with white socks (NO 'skate', 'Converse', or 'Vans' shoes are permitted)
• School hat
