St Joseph’s School is a Catholic co-educational K-12 School with approximately 650 students on two campuses, situated in the picturesque Avon Valley, an hour’s drive from Midland CDB.


Education Assistant ~ Early Years [0.6 FTE]
This is a part-time, temporary position of three days per week, working in the Early Years program.

&

Education Assistant ~ Literacy Team [0.55FTE]
This is a part-time, temporary position of four mornings per week, supporting our Literacy Team.

It is desirable that Applicants hold the necessary qualifications for the position.

Applicants must be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic education and should submit a covering letter and an Application Form [including three referees]. The Application Form, Duty Statement and the School’s Code of Conduct are available from our website or from the School’s Admin Office. The successful applicant will also be required to provide a copy of their Working With Children Check and a current CrimTrac.

Grounds, Maintenance/Handy Person – full-time

Details of this position are:

  • Full-time
  • Main duties include tending gardens and grounds, maintenance and minor repairs to external and internal fittings and equipment.
  • Applicants must be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic education.
  • Applicants must submit a curriculum vitae, addressed to the Principal, including the names and contact numbers of three referees, one of whom must be the current employer. A current 'CrimTrac' 100 point Check Police Clearance must also be included. The appropriate Criminal History Record Check form is available from the Department of Education and Training website
  • On appointment, successful applicants will require a Working with Children Check. Application forms are available at certain Australia Post Outlets throughout the State.
    An application for a WWC must be made in person.
